Hannah and her 'hens' travelled up from Hertfordshire for a weekend in York and started their celebrations in fine style at MALMAISON HOTEL with cocktails and dinner, plus a surprise performance from Undercovered's frontman!
Only a few of the party knew what was going on, so when Hannah and the girls walked through the door to their private dining room they were shocked to hear an acoustic singer performing stripped back renditions of their favourite songs!
With a slight look of panic at first, Hannah soon realised it was just going to be a performance of a musical nature. They soon got acquainted and into a bit of dancing & singing along!
Hannah's Maid of Honour, Louise, booked a 1-hour performance to accompany a rather sophisticated cocktail drinks reception and the start of their dinner, which meant there was a nice mix of upbeat songs followed by something a little more chilled while they ate their starters.
SPECIAL TOUCHES
To make things extra special for the bride-to-be, we were informed that Hannah was a big fan of Usher & Sean Paul!
It was with great pleasure to learn Usher's DJ Got Us Fallin In Love giving this occasion an extra special touch - watch the behind-the-scenes video of this song being performed in the sound check!
The girls' friendship group song was Stand By Me by Ben E King, which became one of the final songs of the night, giving them a chance to all come together and singalong, before finishing with a little soundbyte of Sean Paul's Get Busy with the altered lyrics of
"Shake dat ting, Miss Hannah Hannah"!
The girls found this hilarious and said it had made the song even better - a version they would now sing to Hannah all the time!

We don't know what was in store for the rest of their weekend but no doubt they had a memorable time in the beautiful city of York.
